Dining in the area includes hot food and cold drinks, and especially ice cream at the End of the Commons store.   You will also find Amish bakery choices and you can arrange for a meal in an Amish home by advance arrangement.   Several restaurants are within a 5 mile radius.

Tours can be arranged for any size group.   Not only are "step on" guides and private tour guides available, but you can also take yourself on a "drive it yourself" tour.

Mesopotamia Township is historically important in the pioneer development of the Connecticut Western Reserve, dating back to the late 1700s.   Visitors will find nearly 100% of the architecture around the town square in Mespo dating to Civil War era, or earlier.   In the town's Fairview Cemetery, internationally known sculptor Howard Brigden created many of the monuments, including his own headstone and the dog who waits for his master.   Plan to visit Mespo's historic locations while you are here!
